Dr. Brandon Hamilton, DBA, MBA, MISM
Dr. Brandon Hamilton has over 40 years in engineering, project management, operations management, productivity analysis, telecommunications, and the application of technology to business strategy, management, and decision-making. He has been a system engineer for Stone & Webster Engineering, a strategic analyst for Analytic Services (a Washington, D.C. think tank), a computer engineer for Southern California Edison, a program manager for GenCorp (an aerospace contractor), a partner with Results, Inc., and eventually the President of World Marketing Services, a television production company.
After many years in corporate America, he started teaching and consulting. Besides teaching at DeVry University and Keller Graduate School of Management, he has also taught at Argosy University, the University of Phoenix, the University of California at Los Angeles, Westwood College of Technology, Ivy Tech State College, and Northeastern Illinois University.
Dr. Hamilton has consulted for Los Angeles Department of Health Services, the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Drew University of Medicine and Science, Children’s Institute International, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream of California, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, the City of Hope, Chicago Public Schools, Catholic Diocese of Northwest Indiana, Trinity United Church of Christ, and the Chicago Urban League. He completed a Ph.D. program in educational leadership, administration, and foundations at Indiana State University. His Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Argosy University researched developing processes and modifying corporate structures supporting decision-making policies for implementing long-range corporate plans for a company growing into a multinational or transnational organization. The title of his dissertation is “A Structural Interpretation of Business Growth in the Fashion-Apparel Industry.”
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Information Systems Management (MISM) from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Dr. Hamilton is a popular speaker and a prolific writer. He has made numerous television appearances. He has been a guest on numerous radio shows. He has written numerous articles which have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
